The tiny locking pins on the elbow have been replaced with small screws which, unlike locking pins, are not susceptible to breaking off. The speaker has been tested, and it still works. It has a low impedance voice coil, and it's compatible with almost any modern MP3 device that can connect to a mono miniplug with bare wire ends (I'll include a mono miniplug with bare wire ends).
