The original mass-produced 7600 was finished in black, but as a commemoration of the 300,000th unit, everything was finished in gold, including the rod antenna, Sony logo badge, frequency meter, etc. This is a gold edition (serial No. 300000). It is still in good working order. This is a very rare model that was probably not for sale at the time and was prepared for a commemorative ceremony at Sony. It is a very rare model.
