I bought this GE transistor radio in 1973 and used it for a few years in the office. It still works fine and operates on either AC or four AA batteries. It's in good condition overall and the sound quality is very good for such a small radio. It does make a "scratchy" noise when it's switched on or when changing from AM-FM, but that's a common issue with switches that haven't been used in a while.
